Gordon Biersch Beer

You know what’s great? When two guys who are passionate about food and beer get together and make something really tasty together. That’s what happened with Dan Gordon and Dean Biersch.

Dan had the background in beer, and Dean was a successful restauranteur. They’ve been making great food and German style beer since 1987 and haven’t looked back.

Dan learned the beer trade while attending The Technical University of Munich, or the most renowned brewing school in the world. Together they agreed the beer would be brewed according to Reinheitsgebot (the age-old German Purity Law of beer) with only the finest ingredients: Hallertauer hops, two-row malted barley, and a special yeast strain imported directly from Germany.

Let’s drink some beer.

Gordon Biersch Blonde Bock – A medium-hopped beer with a rich, malty flavor. Most bock beers are very dark, but this one is golden with a creamy head. Great with grilled chicken sandwiches or sauteed red snapper.

Gordon Biersch Hefeweizen – The flavor has hints of clove, bubble gum and banana. True to the name and style, our Hefeweizen is unfiltered with the yeast still present. Brewed with 55% malted wheat and 45% malted barley.

Gordon Biersch Marzen – SILVER MEDAL 2010 WORLD BEER CUP “Marzen”, German for March, was originally brewed in March for Oktoberfest; now produced year-round, smooth, mildly sweet auburn lager, tastes great alone or with food

All of this and more is available at BevMo! Shop beer.
